Get ready, marshmallows: The future of Veronica Mars is in your hands.
The show’s star says that even now, the teen sleuth’s story isn’tquite over.
“I would be down for anything,”Kristen Bell tells PEOPLE of the series, which went off the air in 2007 but was resurrected for afan-funded film in March. “I’m that kind of girl. You can quote me on that.”
The catch? Bell and creator Rob Thomas want to hear from viewers – who set a Kickstarter record by contributing $5.7 million to get the movie made – about the format for any type of sequel.
“I would like to know what the fans want, because especially after the Kickstarter campaign, they are such an integral part of this project. They’re the element we couldn’t do without,” says Bell, 33, throwing out a small Netflix show, return to network television, web series or another movie as possibilities.
As for the age-old question of Veronica’s true soulmate, Bell says her views have evolved.
“I used to be Team Piz, because over the series he treated her better. I was there every episode. I saw that crazy s––– Logan pulled,” she jokes. “After the movie, I’m back on Team Logan again – and I would like to see them team up and fight crime together.”
In the meantime, Bell has stepped behind the camera as creative director for a Lipton Iced Tea mini film series, shooting funny videosfor the brand’s “Win an Extra SUNday” promotion. The third and last clip premieres Wednesday.
But don’t expect her to hop back into the director’s chair anytime soon.
“I would have to be inspired, I think,” she says. “I don’t know if I’m ready to take on a project completely by myself yet, but I really like the messaging behind this new Lipton campaign.”
Something she is ready for? Her Frozen alter ego Anna’s reappearance on the small screen as a character on Once Upon a Time.
“I think it’s wonderful. I’ve seen it, I don’t watch it religiously, but I love what I’ve seen,” she said of the ABC show.
“I’m very entertained by the fantasy aspect, whether it’s sci-fi or zombies or fairy princesses. I think magic is really cool, so I think it’s an honor that we were included alongside so many other popular fairy tales that have been around for so long.”
Kristen Bell is pregnant with her second child with husband Dax Shepard, ET can exclusively confirm!
Bell, 33, and Shepard, 39, are already parents to daughter Lincoln Bell Shepard, 1.
“I can confirm that Kristen and Dax are expecting their second child and a sibling for Lincoln,” a spokesperson for the couple tells ET. “The whole family is beyond excited.”
In February, the couple took the lead in taking action against photographers harassing celebrities’ children in order to take photographs by creating the “No Kids Policy,” rallying to get news outlets to stop sharing, buying or posting photos of celebrities’ children taken without consent.
“The support of ET, the most influential national entertainment newsmagazine, is invaluable in the fight against paparazzi taking photos of the children of celebrities without consent. By creating a greatly diminished demand for these images, it is my hope that these children will no longer be subjected to being followed, yelled at, taunted and having their privacy invaded on a daily basis,” Bell said in February. “Hopefully, these children can return to their routines without having cameras relentlessly pointed at them. I am so grateful to Entertainment Tonight for helping us pave the way on this issue…”
